This is general information, not medical advice. It describes what Texas and Medicare require, not what any particular person needs. Talk to your parent's physician about their specific situation.
Every guide is written from the same government records the facility pages are built from, by a practicing hospice nurse. Where a guide quotes a number, that number is counted from the published data rather than estimated — and where the government publishes no number, these pages say so instead of supplying one.
