Advertising on Houston Care Compass

Advertising is not open yet. Nothing on this site is for sale today, and no listing you see has been paid for.

The first category to open will be assisted living, memory care and residential care homes. This page exists now so the terms are public before anyone is asked for money — an operator should be able to read exactly what they would and would not be buying, without a call.

What a listing costs you, and what it buys

A flat fee for a fixed period of time. That is the entire commercial relationship. Nothing is charged per family, per click, per call, per tour or per move-in — and there is no field anywhere in this site's data capable of recording one. That absence is the control. It is not a policy anyone has to remember.

What you cannot buy — at any price

Why that list is the offer

If you run a twelve-bed home, you have been pitched before by people who charge for every family they send you, and you already know what that does to who gets sent where. This site cannot do that. The reason your listing is worth having is the same reason we cannot move it for you: families trust what is around it.

You are buying the company your listing keeps, not a spot in the order.

Two categories are closed, and not because of timing

Home Health and Hospice Care advertising is not sold here at all while the publisher practices hospice. That is a broader restriction than any conflict disclosure, and it does not expire on a schedule — it holds for as long as the conflict does. Giving up that revenue is the point: no one should have to wonder whether a day job shaped what this site shows them.

How a paid listing appears

Visibly as an advertisement — set apart from the ordinary rows, labeled SPONSORED · Paid advertising, and carrying this line word for word:

These facilities pay a flat monthly advertising fee. Payment does not affect their position in the results below, their ratings, or their inspection history.

An advertisement dressed up as editorial is what gets a site penalized, and it would destroy the trust an advertiser is paying to sit beside. It will not be offered here, including to someone who asks for it.

Who publishes this

A practicing hospice nurse, licensed in Texas, whose licence number is on the site so it can be checked. Every clinical and employment relationship that could look like a conflict is already published, along with what each one is blocked from doing here.
